I did not want to learn to do Galavasana (Flying Crow Pose) to prove anything or "be" anything. I saw it in a book and thought it was beautiful and wanted to be able to do it. When I was able to do it, I felt connected and centered, I felt strong, I felt free. These are all things that come from a regular yoga practice, whether you end up being able to Galavasana or not.
